{ Leah & Keegan’s Muskoka Wedding — the Details }

Hi everyone!

I’m finally back home, after my two month trip to South Africa! I had an amazing time, but it’s definitely good to be home. I went without my “real” camera, so it seems like forever since I picked it up. It feels nice to get back in the swing of things. I’m back online and back to work!

The photos below are from a wedding I shot in September, that I didn’t have a chance to upload before I took off on my trip. I was asked to assist at this gorgeous wedding by my lovely friends over at Kate Hood Inc.

My duties were strictly to photograph candid shots of the guests, and to capture all those little wedding details that make day so special. And I must say, Leah & Keegan went ALL OUT in that department.. I have honestly never seen such time and effort put into details. There were miniature vases full of fresh flowers on each table, a soda & lemonade stand, and other personal touches everywhere you looked. This wedding was one of the most beautiful that I’ve ever had a chance to be a part of.

Thank you to the bride & groom, and also to Kate for asking me along! I hope you enjoy my favourites.

xx

Jana & Ryan! { Muskoka Wedding Photography }

Hi all!

This post is going to be short and sweet (the written part anyway) because I’ve got to start/finish packing for my trip and get to bed! For those of you who don’t know already, I’m heading off later this week on a trip to South Africa. I’ll be gone for almost 7 weeks, and I’ll be working at a rescue center helping injured penguins and other coastal birds. On that note, I’m wrapping up the wedding season with my final post before I jet off..

Jana and Ryan are friends of mine who got hitched earlier this month at a gorgeous cottage on the lake. We went to shoot the bridal session at another awesome location that Jana scouted out, and I absolutely love the photos we ended up with! Please check out some of my favourites below..

I am slowly booking up my wedding season for 2012 — if you’d like to inquire about a date, you may not hear back from me right away while I’m out of the country, but I will definitely get back to you as soon as I get the chance! I’ll also post photos from my trip when I get home in November, but until then, GOODBYE :]

Muskoka Portrait Photography — Kat!

Last week Kat and I went out for an evening shoot around town, and I’m so in love with her photos! Not only is she totally gorgeous, but Kat is a natural in front of the camera.

I’m going to keep this short and sweet, because I think these shots speak for themselves. Take a look at my favourites from her session, and I hope you enjoy!

As always, thank-you to everyone for their continued love & support! I’ve so appreciate the positive feedback I’ve been receiving lately 🙂

Amanda & Gavin tie the knot! { Toronto Wedding Photography }

Last month I had a wicked  time photographing Amanda & Gavin’s wedding, not only because they’re so awesome, but because they’re part of my extended family! { You may remember their Engagement Session from this spring! }

Their wedding took place on a patio overlooking a GORGEOUS golf course, with tons of trees and pretty details that made for an awesome backdrop to their photos. I love, love, love the photos from their bridal session! Thank-you to the happy couple for being so adorable and so in love — it definitely comes across in your photos.

I love you guys and I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I do!

Spring is finally here :D

The weather has been awesome the last few days, so Kailyn and I went out to take advantage of it! I’m keeping this short and sweet.. but here are a bunch of photos from that afternoon!

Enjoy!

Jana & Ryan! Winter Engagement Session

To start things off, let me just say that this engagement session has been a long time coming. First off, Jana told me a long time ago (actually before Ryan even proposed to her) that she wanted me to photograph their wedding, so this has been in the works for awhile! Once Ryan popped the question, we made plans to do some winter photographs back in January, and had to cancel because of the -30 weather. But finally, may I introduce to you.. Jana and Ryan!

We met out in Vankoughnet a couple of weeks ago with the intentions of going skating and shooting the session on a pond.. only to find that the first rink was a no-go because of a hockey tournament, and the second rink was covered in snow, and had poor ice that we couldn’t actually skate on. Bummer.. but instead we improvised and found some great locations to work with!

Here are a few of my favourite photos from Jana and Ryan’s winter engagement session, and let me just say how excited I am to shoot their wedding this September! I’ve heard all about the flowers, the girls’ dresses — and with the fall colours at that time of year, I think it’s safe to say it’s going to be gorgeous 🙂

Thanks for reading, and as always, I really appreciate the feedback!

Ashli & John – Engaged!

Hi everybody,

Meet Ashli and John — they are super adorable and totally in love.

This past holiday weekend (between spending time with family and stuffing myself full of food), I managed to sneak in an afternoon snapping some photographs of these two lovebirds who are getting married later this year. After a few months of ongoing emails and busy schedules, it was great to finally get a chance meet up with them for an engagement session full of canoeing, hiking, wardrobe changes, and beautiful fall colours.

Ashli and John, you guys are so much fun, and I am so excited for your big day!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone 🙂
