Hope everyone had a wicked long weekend. I was crazy busy with weddings, shoots, and tons of editing, but I had to find the time to blog J & K’s gorgeous wedding from last month. Their big day was full of adorable little touches and vintage details that made it such a pleasure to photograph. It was obvious after being around them for two minutes that these two were so in love, and their speeches for each other brought tears to every person’s eyes that night.
Jeff & Karli, I wish you all the best in the future, and congratulations again.
I leave you with some of my favourites.. enjoy!
Lately I’ve been busy. busy, busy! The middle of wedding season finds me occupied most weekends, and spending many hours in front of my computer editing. It was refreshing to take a break and photograph this looooovely couple and to celebrate their engagement.
We spent an hour or two out on a pretty little trail, near to where the actual proposal took place. These two were adorable & full of laughs! They worked so easily in front of the camera — I’m hugely looking forward to shooting their backyard wedding this coming fall!
This post will be short and sweet, and I leave you with some of my favourite images from A+G’s session.
On the blog today is one of the cutest couples I have photographed to date. D + T were so adorable and so clearly in love, and I think all of that was reflected in the photos we captured during their engagement session! Black flies and 30 degree weather aside, we had a lovely afternoon in Muskoka.
Tara and Darren, I can’t wait to photograph your wedding this coming July!
Enjoy some of my favourites..
A couple of weeks ago, I spent what turned out to be one of the last sunny & gorgeous winter afternoons we had shooting engagement photos for Ryan & Amanda.
These two aren’t getting married until next summer, but they recently got engaged (!!) and wanted some photos done ASAP. Rather than waiting until spring rolled around like most of my clients, A & R opted to do a winter-themed session. Not only did they want to shoot photos in January, but they came loaded with a bunch of their own props and ideas that we were super excited about incorporating into the shots. (When I say a bunch, I actually mean like twenty. See photos with their cute pups, hot chocolate, champagne, heart cutouts & sparklers..)
I had a great afternoon with you guys.. you are so adorable together and I’m so happy for you!
Here is a collection of my favourite shots. Take a look and feel free to leave your thoughts & comments for the happy couple!
I’ve been so super busy over the last month or so with engagements and weddings.. I’ve also got some upcoming newborn baby sessions so keep your eyes open for tons of new photos! This is actually the first chance I’ve had to do up a post from Amanda & Gavin’s Engagement Session a couple of weeks ago. These two are so adorable and in love, and paired with the gorgeous spring weather it made for some stunning photos! I can’t wait to shoot their wedding this July 🙂
Here are a couple of my favourite shots from their session — I hope you enjoy them! As always, leave some love for the happy couple!
A few weekends ago I drove down to the city to meet up with Marsha & Allan for their Engagement Session. The day started off well, because somehow I made it to their house without getting lost once. It was raining for most of the morning, but eventually the sun came out and we ended up getting some fun shots in between. Thanks to this beautiful couple for being adventurous and getting drenched from the rain/sitting in the wet grass etc. 😉 I can’t wait to shoot your double wedding this month!
Here are a few of my favourite shots from their session.. enjoy!
To start things off, let me just say that this engagement session has been a long time coming. First off, Jana told me a long time ago (actually before Ryan even proposed to her) that she wanted me to photograph their wedding, so this has been in the works for awhile! Once Ryan popped the question, we made plans to do some winter photographs back in January, and had to cancel because of the -30 weather. But finally, may I introduce to you.. Jana and Ryan!
We met out in Vankoughnet a couple of weeks ago with the intentions of going skating and shooting the session on a pond.. only to find that the first rink was a no-go because of a hockey tournament, and the second rink was covered in snow, and had poor ice that we couldn’t actually skate on. Bummer.. but instead we improvised and found some great locations to work with!
Here are a few of my favourite photos from Jana and Ryan’s winter engagement session, and let me just say how excited I am to shoot their wedding this September! I’ve heard all about the flowers, the girls’ dresses — and with the fall colours at that time of year, I think it’s safe to say it’s going to be gorgeous 🙂
Thanks for reading, and as always, I really appreciate the feedback!
