Hope everyone had a wicked long weekend. I was crazy busy with weddings, shoots, and tons of editing, but I had to find the time to blog J & K’s gorgeous wedding from last month. Their big day was full of adorable little touches and vintage details that made it such a pleasure to photograph. It was obvious after being around them for two minutes that these two were so in love, and their speeches for each other brought tears to every person’s eyes that night.
Jeff & Karli, I wish you all the best in the future, and congratulations again.
I leave you with some of my favourites.. enjoy!
One month ago today I made my way out to Trillum Resort, near Huntsville, On. to photograph this awesome couple tie the knot! You may recognize Darren & Tara from their engagement session back in May! These two make an absolutely stunning couple, and I can honestly say they may be the nicest people I have ever had the pleasure of working with. They are such genuinely nice people and I loved being a part of their big day.
Darren & Tara, you two are amazing, and I look forward to working with you in the future as you begin your life together as a family.
Take a peek at some of my favourite shots from their wedding.. and there are a lot of them!
Lately I’ve been busy. busy, busy! The middle of wedding season finds me occupied most weekends, and spending many hours in front of my computer editing. It was refreshing to take a break and photograph this looooovely couple and to celebrate their engagement.
We spent an hour or two out on a pretty little trail, near to where the actual proposal took place. These two were adorable & full of laughs! They worked so easily in front of the camera — I’m hugely looking forward to shooting their backyard wedding this coming fall!
This post will be short and sweet, and I leave you with some of my favourite images from A+G’s session.
On the blog today is one of the cutest couples I have photographed to date. D + T were so adorable and so clearly in love, and I think all of that was reflected in the photos we captured during their engagement session! Black flies and 30 degree weather aside, we had a lovely afternoon in Muskoka.
Tara and Darren, I can’t wait to photograph your wedding this coming July!
Enjoy some of my favourites..
Hello & happy May!
Today’s post features a collection of my favourite photographs from E & J’s wedding, which took place on St. Patrick’s day of this year at the JW Marriott Rosseau. The weather was unusually cool that day, and both the fog covering the lake, and the overcast skies made for a gorgeous backdrop to our photos.
Take a look at some of my favourites, and let us know what you think!
A couple of weeks ago, I spent what turned out to be one of the last sunny & gorgeous winter afternoons we had shooting engagement photos for Ryan & Amanda.
These two aren’t getting married until next summer, but they recently got engaged (!!) and wanted some photos done ASAP. Rather than waiting until spring rolled around like most of my clients, A & R opted to do a winter-themed session. Not only did they want to shoot photos in January, but they came loaded with a bunch of their own props and ideas that we were super excited about incorporating into the shots. (When I say a bunch, I actually mean like twenty. See photos with their cute pups, hot chocolate, champagne, heart cutouts & sparklers..)
I had a great afternoon with you guys.. you are so adorable together and I’m so happy for you!
Here is a collection of my favourite shots. Take a look and feel free to leave your thoughts & comments for the happy couple!
I’m finally back home, after my two month trip to South Africa! I had an amazing time, but it’s definitely good to be home. I went without my “real” camera, so it seems like forever since I picked it up. It feels nice to get back in the swing of things. I’m back online and back to work!
The photos below are from a wedding I shot in September, that I didn’t have a chance to upload before I took off on my trip. I was asked to assist at this gorgeous wedding by my lovely friends over at Kate Hood Inc.
My duties were strictly to photograph candid shots of the guests, and to capture all those little wedding details that make day so special. And I must say, Leah & Keegan went ALL OUT in that department.. I have honestly never seen such time and effort put into details. There were miniature vases full of fresh flowers on each table, a soda & lemonade stand, and other personal touches everywhere you looked. This wedding was one of the most beautiful that I’ve ever had a chance to be a part of.
Thank you to the bride & groom, and also to Kate for asking me along! I hope you enjoy my favourites.
