Newborn Baby Quintin!

I’m going to go ahead and give myself a pat on the back for finishing two blog posts and for wrapping up two clients’ discs in two days! It’s been a busy couple of weeks, but I’ve managed to stay on top of everything. So far so good!

Two weeks ago I ventured out to Amanda & Gavin’s place to photograph their newborn baby Quintin. You may remember these two from their engagement session & wedding last summer!

Quintin has the most adorable, squishy little face, and he was an absolute angel during his session. Aside from a few little expected hiccups that come along with photographing a newborn, the afternoon went great. We even took a surprise photo for dad.. see the last photo on this post!

Take a peek at some of my favourite photos from this cutie’s session 🙂

Winter Engagement Sessions in Muskoka with A+R !

A couple of weeks ago, I spent what turned out to be one of the last sunny & gorgeous winter afternoons we had shooting engagement photos for Ryan & Amanda.

These two aren’t getting married until next summer, but they recently got engaged (!!) and wanted some photos done ASAP. Rather than waiting until spring rolled around like most of my clients, A & R opted to do a winter-themed session. Not only did they want to shoot photos in January, but they came loaded with a bunch of their own props and ideas that we were super excited about incorporating into the shots. (When I say a bunch, I actually mean like twenty. See photos with their cute pups, hot chocolate, champagne, heart cutouts & sparklers..)

I had a great afternoon with you guys.. you are so adorable together and I’m so happy for you!

Here is a collection of my favourite shots. Take a look and feel free to leave your thoughts & comments for the happy couple!

Amanda & Gavin tie the knot! { Toronto Wedding Photography }

Last month I had a wicked  time photographing Amanda & Gavin’s wedding, not only because they’re so awesome, but because they’re part of my extended family! { You may remember their Engagement Session from this spring! }

Their wedding took place on a patio overlooking a GORGEOUS golf course, with tons of trees and pretty details that made for an awesome backdrop to their photos. I love, love, love the photos from their bridal session! Thank-you to the happy couple for being so adorable and so in love — it definitely comes across in your photos.

I love you guys and I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I do!

Marsha & Allan’s Weddings { Parts 1 and 2 }

This summer I was asked to shoot Marsha & Allan’s wedding, only to find out that they were actually having two wedding dates and I was going along for both! 🙂

Day one was a beautiful white dress ceremony at Toronto’s historic venue — the Carlu. Day two was a traditional ceremony outside in the beauty summer weather, at yet another gorgeous place — the Nobleton Golf & Country Club. Not only did both days include some of the most spectacular sites, {and most awesome bridal shoes!} but also some of the nicest people that I’ve had the privilege of photographing.

Marsha & Allan are such a fun, stylish, and adorable couple, and they both have such laid-back personalities. It was such an honor to be included in their wedding(s) and I want to extend a huge thank you to them and their families for their warm welcomes.  I also want to thank Tristan — my lovely assistant that day — for doing such a wicked job.

Here are a few of my favourites from their weddings.. take a look and leave some love for the newlyweds!

It’s been awhile!

Here’s an update of what I’ve been up to lately: work, work and more work. I realize I’ve been slacking in the blog department though, so I figured I’d put together a quick post tonight!

Last month, I had the pleasure of photographing Lata and Purvish’s wedding. I was blown away the entire time, never having been to an Indian ceremony before — and there were so many family traditions and important rituals involved that at times, I found it hard to keep up. Between trying to wrap my head around all the details, and stuffing my face with Purvish’s mom’s delicious food, I managed to get some photos that I hope represent how totally gorgeous and romantic their day was.

Working alongside a team of videographers was a first for me too, and also a bit of a challenge. I’m sure I got in their way 99% of the time, however I really hope all of their shots don’t include the back of my head 🙂 But seriously, I met some interesting and very talented people, who have already inspired me to be more creative.

Here are some of my favourite photos from the day, and as always, thanks for checking out my blog and keeping up to date with my work! I really appreciate it.

Lata made such a stunning bride..

And they ended the night with some good old fashioned dancing!
